The Road to the NFL: Jack Corcoran's Draft Blog #9
Written by Jack Corcoran on 04/12/2010
I finally got to take a few visits with NFL teams this week.
On Thursday I spent the day with the New York Jets. I really enjoyed getting on the field and doing positional drills. Even though it had been a while since my Pro-Timing Day at Rutgers I feel like I did well for the Jets in the workout.
The coaching staff also couldn't have been more gracious. It was cool to meet the staff and receive feedback from them about my performance.
On Friday I worked out for the New York Giants. Once again, it was fun. I had a great time I was thrilled to be able to spend some time with the Giants running backs coach, Jerald Ingram. He was really a nice man and I liked talking football with him.
After I worked out for the Giants I went to visit my brother on Friday night. I hadn't seen him in a while and it was great to see him. The only drawback was where he lives I had a hard time getting service on my phone.
Not having cell service was the only drawback after a great workout and seeing my family.
As always, thanks for reading.
