Snap Judgement Houston/Oklahoma State

Did I tell you? Did I tell you? You bet I did. I said you want excitement, this was your game to watch and it delivered in a big big way. But in a game that delivered 80 total points it was the defense that made all the difference. If not for Jamal Robinson’s interception, all that offense the Cougars generated was probably for nothing.
Case Keenum is amazing. Not NFL prospect amazing. But he’s absolutely college highlight reel amazing. Over 365 yards passing, 3 TDs through the air, 1 on the ground. I know he can’t win the Heisman but he needs to at least be in the conversation. He went into Stillwater and schooled the Pokes defensive secondary.
On the other side of the ball, you can’t be too down on the Cowboy offense. Robinson’s pick was about as big a hit as it could be, but losing Kendall Hunter hurt a lot. Dez Bryant is still the most dynamic playmaker in the nation, but this day belongs to Keenum and the Houston Cougars. They get the week off, and then it’s ariel assault part 2, as they play a Texas Tech team that hasn’t looked themselves. I expect more fireworks from the Cougars.
