Toledo running back DeJuane Collins is currently preparing himself for his offseason workouts and the NFL draft. DeJuane was nice enough to take a few minutes with us to answer some questions. here they are...
Curt: What are your accurate measurements (height, weight & 40 time)? DaJuane: 5'10", 215, 4.5
Curt: What areas of your game transfer best to the NFL? DaJuane: Ability to run between tackles and find holes, catching the football out of the backfield and pass protection.
Curt: What things do you hope to improve on? DaJuane: General knowledge of the game and 40 time
Curt: What role do you see for yourself on an NFL team? DaJuane: Special teams and some playing time at RB
Curt: Who was your favorite NFL team growing up? DaJuane: Philadelphia Eagles and the Jacksonville Jaguars
Curt: Who was the best player you went up against in college? DaJuane: Larry English when he played at NIU
Curt: Is there a player in the NFL we can look at that compares to your playing style? DaJuane: Brian Westbrook. Not a super fast guy but has ability to make the big play time after time.
Curt: Any other players at Toledo readers should know about for the upcoming draft? DaJuane: Stephen Williams-WR, Barry Church-SS, Alex Steigerwald-K
Curt: OK, DaJuane you have the whole NFL reading why should they take a shot on DaJuane Collins? DaJuane: I am a hard-working guy who loves to play football. There isn't anyhing I won't do to help my team win. I feel that I am a great teammate and will do whatever my coaches tell me.
