POSITIVES

Lynch is a special player. He's got ideal running back size, runs low to the ground, with impressive power and explosion, and great straight line speed once he's in the open field. He has great moves for a player of his size, but there's just something about him, when you watch him play, that screams "franchise" running back. He's clearly a top candidate for the Heisman, and could approach 2,000 yards for the season. All things considered, Lynch is probably a better all-around RB prospect than Adrian Peterson or Michael Bush.

NEGATIVES

Lynch had a down year last year, and that was due to a hand injury. He's going to have to show up healthy this year, all year, to solidify his spot among the top 2 or 3 running backs in the country. He's shown to be an adequate receiver out of the backfield, but could do better in this aspect of his game, as well as in pass protection.

FINAL WORD

Lynch is truly an elite talent, and assuming he's healthy all year, and has a huge year, a sure bet to head to the NFL, and the top half of the first round. Lynch has that unbeatable combination of bruising size, with the moves and speed of a guy 30 pounds lighter. Beyond all the football adjectives, you just have to watch Lynch to appreciate what he can do. He's so quick through the hole, and so hard to tackle, he rarely has negative yardage, so when he gets loose, he's so nimble that he just outruns players.
