POSITIVES

Crosby is a thunderfoot. He's got range out to about 65 yards, and is plenty accurate. His coaches have already told Crosby that if the situation arises, they are giving him the green light for a 70 yard attempt this season. Crosby isn't just a big leg on field goals; he's also a deep kickoff guy, consistently putting the ball close to, or out of the end zone. Oh, and did I mention he's also going to be the starting punter this year, and will probably be close to leading the country in punting as well.

NEGATIVES

He plays in Boulder, and the "thin air" always gets some of the credit for his big leg. Yeah, it might count a little, but he's shown on the road that he can boom kicks just the same.

FINAL WORD

Crosby's the best kicker in the country, hands down, and the addition of his punting duties will make him even more valuable. He's a great outdoor, bad weather kicker, and can blast kickoffs as well as field goals. Teams have started to appreciate what kind of weapon a great kicker can be, and Crosby could easily find himself in the 2nd round of next year's draft.
