Inman has great size for the tackle position. He’s tall, has long arms, but still stays nice and low in his stance, maintaining leverage against stronger players. He's a 4-year starter at tackle in the SEC, that alone gives you some "cred" with the NFL. He's sort of a jack of all trades lineman. He's a very good run blocker, a very good pass protector, but not elite in either role. He has a nice first step in pass protection, can seal the outside, and has good quickness in run blocking downfield.
NEGATIVES
He's sort of dull. It's something to watch Inman play, because Georgia runs behind him, rolls to his side, and he's always steady and makes plays, but you never really give him much thought. He's got to really step up, be dominant in some big games, against big-time competition, and play with a little more attitude, if he wants to get noticed by NFL scouts.
FINAL WORD
Inman is the best lineman on the Bulldogs roster this year, in addition to being the most experienced. He's expected to be a leader for the unit this year, and I’m sure he will be, but will he elevate his game this year as well or will he continue to be that jack of all trades/master of none-type player? Hopefully, his skills and technique will catch up with the physical tools he has, and he’ll start to make the plays a top NFL prospect makes.
