Harris is finally starting to play up to his press clippings coming out of high school. He's an experienced starter, who's been consistent in his growth and development every year since he's been at Notre Dame. His quick feet and long athletic body helps him in pass protection. He does everything well, showing good strength and quickness, and great technique. Harris is a hard worker, and it's clear he's still got quite a bit of room for development.
NEGATIVES
Harris is undersized for the NFL. He needs to put on some beef, if he wants to survive, especially in run blocking, where he gets pushed around at times. Harris is good at getting to the second level, and holding blocks, but most of his shortcomings in losing guys downfield centers on his lack of bulk. He seems to lack some consistency in his game, with lapses in his concentration that showed on the field.
FINAL WORD
He really stepped up as a junior, and showed a ton of development. He'll need to expand on that this season, continuing to get bigger and stronger, to solidify his spot in the NFL draft. He's got the potential to be great, but he has to get bigger, and he's got to get stronger.
