WR / Sr.
Louisville
5' 11'' / 170 lbs.

POSITIVES

Alexander does a little bit of everything. Initially more of a coverage player, his speed, and natural athletic ability made him very smooth in coverage. But in the last 2 years, he's really grown into his body, and is now just as solid in stopping the run. He's very good on the weakside, with the speed to pursue from the backside, and is just as adept rushing the passer as he is going after a tight end or running back, in the pattern.

NEGATIVES

Still growing, and probably needs to get bigger and stronger, especially in the run. Has to learn to work through blockers better. Sort of a jack of all trades, but master of none. He doesn't excel in any area, so he gets lost at times. The unquestioned leader of the defense, and will need to show that this year.

FINAL WORD

Alexander reminds me a lot of DeMeco Ryans. Does everything well, but nothing great. Sooner fans know how great Alexander is, but the rest of the country probably doesn't. If he wants to be considered a top prospect in the upcoming draft, he really needs to step up, as a playmaker, and force people to take notice.
